Logan Chinski, BScN, RN (C), Harm Reduction Lead, Alberta Health Services, Calgary Zone, oversees Safeworks a harm reduction outreach team and supervised consumption services in Calgary.   He is involved in the management of a multidisciplinary outreach and clinical team, harm reduction programming throughout the Calgary Zone such as supply distribution and housing projects, HIV case management, gay/bi/trans/men who have sex with men testing clinics, and Calgary’s only supervised consumption site. Previous to this role he was the HIV Nurse Educator for Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) Hope to Health Program.  He is involved in region wide education and the expansion of routine HIV testing in acute care and community sites.  As well, he is responsible for the sustainability and education for the HIV rapid point of care program across all of VCH.  Previous to his educator role he worked several years in Communicable Disease Control as the HIV Communicable Disease Nurse in VCH.  In addition, he worked as an STI Outreach Coordinator in Edmonton, AB and a staff nurse in acute care in Saskatoon, SK.
