Jordan Baylon is a queer Filipinx poet/spoken word artist who spends most of his time at Calgary Arts Development designing and running granting programs for artists and arts organizations. The majority of this work is to meet and talk with artists working in all disciplines and contexts about the challenges and opportunities around their work, and to help them access resources and support to thrive. Equity, diversity and inclusion are the primary lenses he applies to this work because of a firm belief that those values are what will unlock the true potential of the arts to create community and foster reconciliation.
